Writer: Shalini NadkarniShalini Nadkarni

To many, the most favourite part of a Thea treatment is the facial massage!

For us, it's the part where we connect with our client. It is a connection through the power of touch. The benefits are innumerous. Besides giving relaxation, it helps the blood flow which works at different levels as a result helps tone facial muscles. It stimulates the motor points resulting in a glowing skin, reducing stress on the face, calming inflamed skin therefore improving acne and even acne scars! Face massage using the right technique can be therapeutic and good for overall wellness.

Using simple tools and the most important one, hands, gentle pressure at the right points is applied with aromatic oils which helps improve muscle tone and in detoxification giving the skin a youthful and brighter appearance.

Not to forget, home self massage for about 5-10 minutes is highly recommended and guidance is given on massage techniques whether you use massage tools like gua sha, massage roller, suction cups or just your hands!
